We’re pleased to share that Walker Warner has been named to the longlist for Archello’s “Large Firm of the Year” award. The Archello Awards recognize outstanding firms, buildings, interiors, and products from around the world. This year, the jury selected 16 firms that “exhibit outstanding design, manage complex projects, and set industry benchmarks.”
In addition to the firm award, two Walker Warner projects were also longlisted: Hale Mau’u for “Large Rural House of the Year” and Driftwood for “Unbuilt Housing Project of the Year.”
Archello highlighted Hale Mau’u’s indoor-outdoor living spaces, noting that the home “fully embraces the quiet beauty of the landscape.”

Driftwood, which is currently in progress, was designed to blend into the California coast, with its gabled forms, enclosed glass walkways, and ash cladding that will age gracefully over time.
Finalists in all categories will be announced in early November, and popular choice voting will take place throughout the month.
