Last Thursday, the Presidio Bay Ventures (PBV) Real Estate Development scholars stopped by the Walker Warner studio to learn about our practice. Throughout the evening, they took a deep dive into three in-progress residential projects, engaging in meaningful discussions with our architects, designers, and firm leaders.
The event was part of PBV’s six-week program that introduces students from underrepresented backgrounds to the many facets of real estate development, culminating in a final capstone presentation. Now in its sixth year, the goal of the scholarship is to increase access, awareness, and intake of diverse professional populations into the real estate industry.
It’s inspiring to spend time with the next generation of professionals, and we look forward to welcoming them back to the studio soon.

“Through a holistic approach of education, mentorship, and long-term relationship building, we hope to instill the inspiration and confidence among our students that they can also have a seat at the table in shaping our communities for future generations.”
