Kona Village has received an AIA Honolulu Award of Excellence, the chapter’s highest distinction, as well as a U.S. Green Building Council Hawai‘i Sustainability Award.
“Our work on Kona Village was a significant opportunity and responsibility,” says Partner Greg Warner. “We have great respect and admiration for all those involved.”
Established in 1958, the awards are Hawaii’s longest-running design competition; they highlight the importance of creating a better built environment throughout the islands. This year, the panel of jurors included AIA member-architects from Hawaii, Washington, and California.
