Craft has played an instrumental role in the development of Matthew’s passion for architecture. From an early age, he felt a deep connection between the delicate art of making and the world around us. His family’s tradition of craftsmanship has shaped his worldview, nurturing an insightful understanding in the lifecycle of materials—from their initial sourcing to the creation processes and the patina they acquire over time.

Upon earning a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, he immersed himself in the intricacies of construction and fabrication. In his current role as Senior Job Captain, he synthesizes his expertise in materials and intricate details with a steadfast commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.
