An Edwardian-style home is brought to life in the well-to-do San Francisco neighbourhood of Pacific Heights.

“Mouse-like” is an unusual brief for a designer, but for Chloe Warner of Redmond Aldrich Design, it was a helpful reference point when imagining the colours for this “calm and monochromatic” house in San Francisco’s affluent Pacific Heights neighbourhood. “The joke was that it should be elegant but ‘mouse-like’, and any colours that were ‘off mouse’ were nixed,” says Warner, whose project was inspired by Europeans like Pierre Yovanovitch and Joseph Dirand.
