2015 CA Home+Design Awards: Quintessa Pavilions win for Sustainable Commercial Design

We proudly announce that we were recently awarded a California Home + Design award for Sustainable Commercial Design. The Quintessa Pavilions are the newest architectural addition to the Quintessa Estate. Set along an oak-covered ridgeline overlooking the vineyard and lake beyond, each of the three 250-square-foot open-air pavilions offers a unique and intimate wine tasting experience for up to a dozen guests. The design of the unobtrusive pavilions echoes the winery’s existing environmental sensitivity and material palette that age and weather gracefully. A compacted crushed stone pedestrian pathway links the pavilions, each thoughtfully terraced into the land.
